Access, visitor, CCTV and incident procedures, scored from 0 to 100 with a prioritised list of fixes. Remote, confidential and fixed-fee, before commissioning or before an incident tests them.

In short: a data centre security documentation audit tests whether the written procedures behind your physical security would show, after an incident, that your controls were reasonable. Each procedure is scored from 0 to 100 and you receive a prioritised list of fixes. It is done remotely from your documents, for a fixed fee.
Investigators, insurers and auditors rarely ask whether you had a guard, a turnstile or a camera. They ask you to prove the control was reasonable: who decided it, against which threat, who owns it, and when it was last checked. A control you cannot evidence counts for little.
| Procedure | What an investigator will look for |
|---|---|
| Visitor and contractor access | Identity checks, escort rules, logs, and evidence the logs were reviewed |
| Access credentials and keys | Issue, revocation on leaving, periodic recertification, and who approved each |
| CCTV and alarm monitoring | Coverage rationale, retention, review frequency, response times, and records of review |
| Incident response and escalation | Named roles, decision thresholds, notification steps, and post-incident records |
| Change and maintenance control | Authorisation, supervision of third parties, and sign-off before systems return to service |
Each document is scored on the Prouse Forensic Index: 0 to 39 fragile, 40 to 75 marginal, 76 to 100 robust. The method is set out in a working paper on SSRN and is aligned with ISO 31000 and ISO 19011.
The cheapest moment to fix a procedure is before a facility goes live. A pre-commissioning gap analysis gives the operator, its board and its investors an independent score of the documentation that will have to defend the site.
| Option | Scope | Fixed fee | Delivered |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single-procedure benchmark | One procedure, end to end, with a gap summary | US$875, credited against a gap analysis booked within 30 days | 5 working days |
| Organisation gap analysis | Up to ten procedures, scorecard, ten-page roadmap, 30-minute briefing | US$6,450 | 15 working days |
No. Certification audits check that a management system exists and operates. This audit tests whether the documents behind your physical security would defend a specific control after an incident. It can also help you prepare for one.
No. The audit is a review of your documents, done remotely. A site visit can be arranged when one is needed.
Documents arrive by encrypted link or email, are stored in an encrypted folder, are used only for your engagement and are deleted 90 days after the final report unless you ask otherwise. An NDA is available before you send anything.
No. It is an independent risk assessment of your documentation, designed to sit alongside the advice of your lawyers and insurers.
